Project overview

At the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak, Accenture swiftly mobilized a diverse team of experts to address the challenges posed by the pandemic. In collaboration with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), the primary focus was to establish an effective distribution system for the vaccine and to facilitate the enrollment process for California residents.

I felt proud to contribute to this initiative. Working with dedicated individuals to create impactful designs for the community during the Covid-19 pandemic in California was meaningful. This collective effort highlighted the importance of solidarity and creativity in crisis. It was a privilege to be part of this vital work.

Solution

Our design team and I worked diligently to ensure compliance with tight deadlines and the exacting standards set by the California Department of Public Health. The success of the MyTurn scheduling platform hinged on several crucial factors: daily updates of information, user testing, mobile accessibility for ease of use, low latency for users with limited bandwidth, and robust multilingual support to widen our reach. The development of the site was particularly impressive, culminating in a launch within a two-month timeframe, followed by the gradual introduction of additional features. The requirement for daily updates from the federal government necessitated meticulous timing and precision throughout the project's duration.

Presented and designed 50+ wireframes to support functional discussions and technical implementations to internal teams and clients

Crafted flows based on weekly user stories and CDC eligibility updates

MyTurn reel

I was very honored to help support during Covid in California. I art directed, designed, motion test and collaborated with our copywriters on the MyTurn Awareness video reel for the public of California. I gathered requirements from state government workers and collaborated with writers to create a storyboard detailing the process for obtaining vaccines. This initiative aimed to provide clear and accessible information to the community ensuring that individuals understood the steps necessary for vaccination.
